Neurasmus B.V. is a research and development company that operates under the holding of Erasmus Medical Center. The company is founded in April 2010 by enthusiastic members of the Department of Neuroscience. The mission of the company is to valorize already existing intellectual property on the Department of Neuroscience as well as the development of new high-tech systems that can be used as research tools or in treatment of neuroscience related disease. |

Neurasmus develops fMRI compatible eyeblink condition test
Neurasmus developed a unique method of recording eyeblink responses while conducting functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI). The method is based on highspeed videotracking of the eyelids by making use of multiple mirrors. The system is installed at the The Erwin L. Hahn Institute for Magnetic Resonance Imaging and works with a 7 Tesla whole-body magnet resonance imager. |

For participation in research, patients will no longer need to go to the hospital, the hospital comes to the patient: The Patient Prominent. NeurasBus thus offers the patient the opportunity to actively contribute to scientific research and the development of therapy.
